Wager on Sports Baseball
Baseball on Wager on Sports
Although the baseball season is currently on hiatus, that doesn’t mean you
won’t hear about it on the news, with the arms race going on in Boston and New
York. In reaction to this, most sportsbooks are already listing pennant and
World Series odds. However, Wager on Sports defiantly lists nothing, and for
once I agree. It’s January damnit, and baseball season starts in April. But
let’s talk about it anyway. Why? Because I’m mad, mind you, mad.
Wager on Sports Wager Rules
If you aren’t familiar with the baseball rules, games are official after five
innings of play. The online gambling line is thus also official if the game is
called after that point. The over/under, on the other hand is null and void if
the game doesn’t go the full nine innings. Wagers are also refunded if a
pitching change is made, or any game involving Byung-Hyun Kim. I still remember
Bob Brenly explaining why he put him in those World Series games. Seems old Bob
tried getting in the batter’s box against Kim, and claimed he couldn’t pick up
the ball due to the pitcher’s submarine style. No Bob, you couldn’t pick it up
because you’re old. In any case, we should lay off Mr. Kim; it’s been a few
years after all. For now.
Wager on Sports Progressive Dime Line Betting
Dime lines for Wager on Sports are progressive, meaning they’re only dime
lines up to a certain point. In the case of the Wager on Sports sportsbook, once
you get to -140, the underdog is +125, and so on and so forth. Which makes me
think it should be called progressively not dime lines. Because progressively it
becomes less and less like a dime line.
Wager on Sports Betting Types
Lines, run totals, money lines, and spreads. The most interesting lines to
see early on this year will be in Gotham, with the Mets and Yankees. Will the
oddsmakers overcompensate for the Yankees overspending? Will they under
compensate in preparation of another Mets collapse?
Wager on Sports Internet Gambling Props
How will the steroid issue effect players like Barry Bonds? Will the home run
and player props be altered? In all likelihood, nothing will change. Bonds has
obviously steered away from the cream and clear in the last year, and as a
result has played less games and hit less home runs. However, who knows if he
will continue to instill fear in the hearts of pitchers. I’m just babbling
because there are no real props right now.
Wager on Sports Wager on Futures
Nothing is up yet, not even odds for the 2005 World Series. While most sites
already have complete odds not only for the World Series but the AL and NL
pennants, we are left wondering with Wager on Sports. On the other hand, does
anyone place these future bets in January? With the NFL Playoffs, College
Football Bowl Season, and NBA in full swing, I don’t think anyone even knows
baseball exists.
