WageronSports.com Poker Rules
Wager on Sports, Bet Hold em is committed to fair, accurate, and enjoyable
poker game playing. When a gambler plays Poker at Wager on Sports, Bet Hold em,
it is acknowledged that the gambler has read and understood both the general
poker rules and the poker game rules. Wager on Sports, Bet Hold em’ poker
players are bound by the following rules when joining a poker game.
All WageronSports.com Actions Stand
Once a poker player has selected an action during poker game play, it is
final. Poker players, please ensure that the correct action has been selected.
WageronSports.com Coffee-housing
Chat between poker players intended to mislead or manipulate other poker
players’ falls under the 'Coffee housing' rule. It is not permitted. Any chat
that could influence the poker play, or outcome of the poker game, is not
allowed and will not be tolerated by Wager on Sports.
WageronSports.com Slow Play
If a poker player is connected to the Wager on Sports, Bet Hold em’ system
but not responding when it is the poker players turn, the following rules apply:
• If the poker player has not placed a bet in the poker hand, the poker player
has ten seconds to respond before the poker players poker hand automatically
folds.
• If a poker player has placed a poker bet in the poker hand, the poker player
has twenty seconds before the poker hand automatically folds or is considered
all-in.
• For more information on all-in restrictions, see the ‘Disconnections’ section.
• Continued slow poker play may be grounds for a poker player to be removed from
the poker table and the poker room. This decision is at the discretion of
Wager on Sports, Bet Hold em.
WageronSports.com Disconnections
If a poker player is disconnected during a poker game from a poker room, the
following rules apply:
• If a poker player is disconnected during poker play, the poker table is
notified via the poker game History box. For information on leaving and
returning to a poker game, see the section Leaving and Returning to a poker
game.
• If a poker player is disconnected during the poker play of a poker hand and
has not placed a poker bet, the poker player’s poker hand will automatically
fold after ten seconds.
• If a poker player is disconnected during the poker play of a poker hand and
has placed a poker bet, the poker player has thirty seconds to reconnect. If the
poker player does not reconnect within 30 seconds, the poker player cannot
rejoin the poker table, and is considered all-in.
• There is a limit to the number of times that a poker player can call all-in in
a 24-hour period. When this limit is exceeded, the poker player's hand folds and
any money the poker player has contributed to the poker pot are forfeited.
• Poker players should make sure that they are aware of their poker playing
all-in status. When a poker player has reached the all-in limit, the poker
player must request that the poker limit be reset.
WageronSports.com poker players who want to reset their poker limit simply:
- Right-click the poker game table graphic and a pop-up menu will be
displayed.
- Select the ‘Request all-in reset’ option to reset it to the default limit.
WageronSports.com Language
Communication between poker players at the table is in English only. Language
that is foul, insulting, or abusive is not permitted on Wager on Sports. Use
of such language may result in a poker player being removed, suspended, or
banned from the Poker Room. Use of such language will result in a poker players
poker hand folding and the forfeit of all a poker players contributions to the
pot. These decisions are at the sole discretion of the Wager on Sports house.
WageronSports.com Poker Playing at More than One Table
Poker players may play poker at more than one poker table at the same time at
the discretion of the Wager on Sports house.
The following WageronSports.com rules apply:
• If multiple poker table poker play is causing slow poker play, the
Wager on Sports House may force the poker player to play one poker game only.
• The poker player may not allege distraction or confusion as an excuse for
errors made when playing poker at more than one poker table. Poker players are
urged to consider the risks involved in multiple poker table poker play. Errors
that occur are strictly the poker player's responsibility.
WageronSports.com Individual Play
Partnering or organized co-operation between poker players is not permitted.
WageronSports.com Minimum Buy-in
The minimum buy-in for any poker game is ten times the amount of the small
bet. For example, the minimum buy-in for a $3/$6 poker game is $30.
WageronSports.com Table Stakes
There are low and high poker bets in each poker game. In a $5/$10 poker game,
the low bet is $5 and the high bet is $10. A poker player cannot increase their
poker bet while a poker hand is in play.
WageronSports.com Leaving and Returning to a Poker Game
If a poker player leaves a poker game and returns to that poker game in less
than sixty minutes, the poker player will start the new poker game with the same
stakes as when they left. If a poker player leaves one poker game to play in
another poker game and lose, a poker player may return to the first poker game
and play at a lower limit bet. For more information on playing poker at a lower
limit bet, see the section All-in.
WageronSports.com All-in
If a poker player does not have enough chips to match a bet, a poker player
can go All-in and put the remainder of a poker players chips into the pot.
All-in means that all a poker players remaining chips are in the pot. A poker
player then plays for this smaller pot. The poker game that continues among the
other poker players is put into a side pot. The all-in poker player has no share
in this side pot.
To request more all-ins from WageronSports.com, do the following:
- Right-click the game table graphic and a pop-up menu will be displayed.
- Select the ‘Request all-in reset’ option to reset it to the default limit.
WageronSports.com Checks and Raises
Checking and raising is permitted in all poker games.
WageronSports.com Bets and Raises
No poker raises are permitted once the betting is capped. Poker players may
only call or fold. When playing 1-on-1 poker, or if only two poker players
remain in a poker game, the maximum number of bets permitted per betting round
is eight.
WageronSports.com Blinds and Posts
• Blind poker bets start the poker game. The poker player to the immediate
left of the poker dealer posts the small blind. The next poker player to the
left posts the big blind. The small blind is half of the lower betting limit.
The big blind is a full bet at the lower betting limit. For example, in a
$10/$20 game, the small blind is $5 and the big blind is $10.
• When new poker players enter a game, they can choose to either post now or
wait for the big blind. If a poker player waits, they will receive no poker
cards until it is their turn to play the big blind. If they decide to post, they
bet the equivalent of one big blind, and receive poker cards immediately.
• Both the big blind and post are considered live blinds. The poker player who
posted the small blind must check the betting once the new poker player has
posted the equivalent of one big blind.
• Poker players who sit out - and then sit in again - must wait either for the
big blind to reach them before receiving cards, or post both a big blind and a
small blind to receive cards immediately.
• When posting both blinds, only the big blind portion of the post is live. The
small blind portion of the post is placed in the pot. The Player is penalized
the equivalent of a small blind.
WageronSports.com Exposing Hands at Showdown
• All active poker hands are automatically displayed at the poker showdown
unless a poker player has selected the Muck Losing Hands option.
• All called poker hands at showdown are available for viewing to any poker
player in the Play Check readout of a poker hand.
• Poker players who win a pot without a showdown are given the option to show or
muck their poker hand. Uncalled winning poker hands that are mucked are not
available for viewing in the Play Check readout.
WageronSports.com Sitting Out
Clicking the Wager on Sports Sit Out button allows a poker player to leave
the poker table for a short period of time. A poker player is removed from a
poker table if a poker player sits out for more than fifteen minutes or has
missed two rounds of blinds.
